After high school, Dean joined the U.S. Army, working as a computer specialist in the Signal Corps and Forces Command. At Food Brands America, he aligned IT capabilities with business needs, enhancing productivity and reducing costs. As Director of Network Security and Infrastructure at Motor Coach Industries, Dean unified information systems across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, integrating manufacturing, sales, diagnostics, and online parts ordering into a seamless network.

In 2011, Dean co-founded Argentum IT in Kentucky, motivated by a desire to help small and medium-sized businesses utilize technology for growth and efficiency.
